Grove Bath

Starring loft ceilings, these rooms overlook Salamanca Place, Salamanca Square or the rooftops stretching to Sullivan’s Cove. The eye-pleasing decor includes handmade Tasmanian furniture, tactile throws, cushions and sheepskins, and a colour scheme in keeping with the island’s wilderness. Photography of Tasmania by renowned photographer Derek Henderson hangs on the walls. Decorated with dark-green herringbone tiles and matt-black fittings, the bathrooms have a deep-soak bath tub and a separate walk-in shower with both rain-head and hand-held showers. Each room has a TV, iPod dock, Huon Valley apples upon arrival and a minibar with local snacks. There’s also air-conditioning, kettle, tea and coffee kit, Grown Alchemist bath products, slippers, iron and board, pillow menu.
